The Ohio Department of Education has designated Valley High School as a "School of Promise". This award is given to schools that demonstrate that all students can reach a high level of success. Valley High School students attained a high rate of success as a whole group on the Ohio Graduation Test. Additionally the economically disadvantaged group attained a high level of achievement.
