Mrs. Goins began her first term in January, 2006. She is a school counselor at Pickaway Ross Career Technology Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. Mrs Goins has 25 years of experience in education and has served as a home economics teacher, GRADS program instructor, early childhood educator, employability instructor and the past eleven years as a school counselor. She is very satisfied with her career and plans to continue as an educator for years to come. Kathy enjoys staying envolved in state and national professional organizations, traveling, reading, cooking and learning!

Mrs. Goins is a 1978 graduate of Valley High School and received her Bachelors of Education in home economics from Ohio State University in 1983. She was awarded a Masters of Education in school guidance and counseling by Xavier University in 1986. She has completed graduate work at Ohio State, Ohio University and Wright State University.

Kathy is married to Dwight Goins and they have 4 children, the two oldest are college graduates, Jonathan is an 11th grader at Valley High School and Katie attends Valley Middle School where she is an eighth grader.
