Mr. Buckler has completed four years of service on the Board.

Mr. Buckler is an attorney in private practice in Portsmouth, Ohio and for five years he served as the Magistrate for the Village of Piketon. He was a high school math teacher for 10 years and a full-time mathematics instructor at Shawnee State University for 2 years.  Mr. Buckler is also an assistant prosecutor for the City of Portsmouth.

He is a 1983 graduate of Valley High School and received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Rio Grande College in 1987, an M. Ed. in Educational Administration from Ohio University in 1991, and a J.D. in Law from the Capital University Law School in 1996.

Mr. Buckler and his wife Lisa reside in Breckenridge Estates.  Their daughter, Adrienne, attends The Ohio State University and their son, Adam, is a student at Valley High School.
