Valley's Art Department received an early Christmas present from local business owners yesterday.

Kenny Boldman and Todd Crabtree brought a pizza party to the students who participated in the Lucasville winter window painting project.  Kenny spoke to the students, thanking them for their efforts on behalf of the Growing Lucasville Opportunities (GLO) group, and then presented a surprise donation to the Art department totalling $400 from various area businesses.  Several of the businesses that donated did not even get their businesses windows decorated, but wanted to express appreciation for what the Valley Art students had accomplished in painting the town for the holiday season.  Mrs. Montgomery was overwhelmed and completely surprised by the generous donation, "I'm so thankful for this opportunity and can't wait to make this a yearly tradition for Valley!  The students had a blast and are so proud to have given back to their community".  Mrs. Montgomery and the Valley Art students would like to extend a special thank you to the following businesses for their donations: Holbrooks Hometown Pharmacy, Blueprint Event Company, Crabtree's Carpet, Dreamboat Fitness, Herff Jones, Arrick's Bottled Gas Service, Giovanni's Pizza, Rayburn's CPA, Tim Rayburn CPA, Bentley Family Farms, Splash N Go Wash & Laundry, Zaler Insurance, and Cross Church
