Valley Local School District Community Message:
We wanted to inform our Valley community that we have recently experienced issues with our School Messenger calling system. Some families have reported not receiving calls, and we have learned that other school districts using School Messenger are experiencing similar problems.
We are hopeful that these issues will be resolved soon. However, if the problem continues, we will begin exploring new communication options for our district.
As we move into the winter months, please know that for any weather-related closings or delays, we will still send out a School Messenger call. In addition, we will always post the announcement:
• on the Live Feed of our district website (www.valleyindians.net)
• on the Valley Local Schools Facebook page
• WSAZ (https://www.wsaz.com/weather/closings/)
• on the radio (99.3 WNXT)
•We will also push out the announcement through the Valley Local Schools app, which you should receive as long as notifications are enabled.
You may also notice that the caller ID now shows (866) 549-2241. This is a new setting we are trying based on a recommendation from the company. Please do not be alarmed by the 866 number, it is still us.
We kindly ask that you check these additional sources to ensure you receive the most up-to-date information.

In June, FinalForms notified us of an incident in which some user accounts were compromised. This issue did not result from a breach within FinalForms itself, but rather from data breaches at other companies. The affected individuals had reused the same passwords across multiple platforms, which allowed unauthorized access to their FinalForms accounts.
It is important to note that this incident did not affect only Valley Local Schools. FinalForms has confirmed that multiple schools and organizations across the country were impacted.
At the time, FinalForms informed us that the individual responsible had been apprehended and that no data from their system had been leaked. However, we were recently notified that data belonging to both students and parents/guardians was, in fact, compromised.
FinalForms has stated that they will be sending letters directly to those affected and will be offering free identity protection services.
Valley Local School District is committed to transparency and the safety of our students and families. We wanted to ensure our community was promptly informed of this update.
Attention Valley Elementary School families!
Due to the snow day, tonight’s 1st–4th grade Christmas programs have been moved to Thursday during the school day in the Valley Middle School Gym.
🎤 New Schedule for Thursday, December 4:
1st & 2nd Grade Program — 12:15 PM
3rd & 4th Grade Program — 1:15 PM
🎥 Parents are still welcome to attend, and we will also live stream both programs.
đź’ś Kindergarten Program: will remain as originally scheduled on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the elementary gym.
